2016 Kia Forte 5dr HB Auto SX

in Brantford

I HAVE A THEORY ABOUT THIS CAR.

I think Kia got the name wrong.

Not the model. Not the trim. The translation.

Because there is absolutely no way they looked at this thing, called it the Forte5 SX, and thought, *yes, that adequately describes what we have created here.*

They left something out.

Two letters.

E. Y.

It should have been the **Forte5 SEXY**.

Look at it.

120,000 km.

That is barely enough mileage to have finished the opening chapter of its life, and yet here it is looking like it has just walked out of a very expensive automotive photo shoot.

The Forte5 SX takes the practical hatchback and gives it an attitude problem. Sporty. Sharp. Low. Aggressive. The kind of car that makes you wonder why someone would spend twice as much money on something that looks like a refrigerator.

Now, before we get carried away admiring it, let us talk about the Carfax.

There is a 1,858 claim from 2018. It is right there on the report, and we are not hiding it. You can see it for yourself on the Carfax.

That was eight years ago.

And here we are.

2016

120,000 km.

Looking like this.

So yes, it has a little history.

But apparently that history did not stop it from becoming ridiculously good looking.

The 2016 Kia Forte5 SX.

120,000 km.

Sporty hatchback.

Carfax history disclosed.

And quite possibly the greatest example of a translation error in automotive history.

Because this is not an SX.

This is an SX with the E and Y mysteriously missing.

Kia, we have your missing letters.

They are right here.
